Fourms are haveing me go in circles. What weight gear oil do I use in my differentials, transfer case, and transmission on a 1995 Tacoma? Can I use the same stuff in all of them? Do I need to change the plug gaskets/ washers? Just want some straight answers. All the forums are for 2nd gens or lsd. I have two open differentials.

The gear oils will probably be different for each of them. Is it not listed in your owner’s manual?

I’d look at work tomorrow, but I don’t have access to the parts computer at the moment.

What does the owners manual or the Toyota Service Department say?

You might try calling the tech line at Redline or Amsoil and see what they recommend.

Also you should get new crush washers unless you like drips...new plugs are not needed

Can you get the manual on the Toyota website? That would be the best place to start looking.

The only place it really matters is the transmission. If it calls for GL4 don't put GL5 in because GL5 is harmful to syncros

I run that in my diff (with a limited slip modifier of course). Should be fine for him
